Tibet Airline Opened More than 10 Routes

On October 28, Tibet Airlines officially implemented the winter flight schedule, planning to open the more than 10 flight routes, including Lingchi - Chongqing - Shijiazhuang, Xi'an - Lanzhou - Lingchi, Xi'an - Zhanjiang, Lijiang - Mangshi, Xi'an - Chamdo, Chengdu - Diqing - Lhasa, Lhasa - Guiyang - Shengyang, Lhasa - Xi'ning - Harbin and etc. Among them, there are 8 routes involved in Tibet. Now, Tibet Airlines has 30 flight routes to Tibet.

In order to further build the northwest air passage to Tibet, Tibet Airlines newly opened routes such as Xi'an - Changdu, Xi'an - Lanzhou - Lingchi. Xi'an - Zhanjiang, as the new northwest extension route of the Tibet Airlines, can meet the needs of passengers in the south of China, and it can also enter and leave the city from this route, thus improving the "triangular layout" of the Tibetan route network. 

In addition, Tibet Airlines also opened the Lingjiang - Mangshi, Chengdu - Diqing - Lhasa routes this time and reopen Chengdu - Dali route, fully increasing investment in the Yunnan market. In terms of international routes, the Chengdu - Kathmandu international route will open again. Thanks very much for your inquiry. Travelling to Tibet from Nepal, you need to apply for Chinese Group Visa in Kathmandu. Firstly, we'll apply for visa invitation letter with copy of your passport. Next, we'll send visa invitation letter to you and our partner in Kathmandu. When you arrive in Kathmandu, you need to meet with our partner and give them your original passport, then they will go to Chinese embassy and apply for Chinese Group Visa for you. When you board plane from Kathmandu to Lhasa, they'll only check your passport and Chinese Group Visa. Apart from Chinese Group Visa, you also need Tibet Permit, we'lll apply for Tibet Permit for you in Lhasa, and our guide will pick you up at Lhasa airport with your permit.
