Hello, thanks for the very detailed information that you have put up on the website. I am interested in the "10 Days Tibet Mt. Everest Base Camp plus Namtso Lake Group Tour" departing Lhasa on 30/04/2019, however, I have some questions.
1. I am a university undergraduate currently on exchange in China, holding onto an X2 visa that is valid until August 2019. Will I still be able to apply for the Tibet permit and other relevant documents, and will the application affect my X2 visa?
2. If there are no issues with Item 1 above, when is the earliest that you would advice me to book the train tickets into and leaving Lhasa? (because I've checked that the tickets on those dates are running out very quickly)
3. I see that currently, there are 2 people who booked the 10 days tour on 30/04/2019. I am a solo traveller. In this case, will I have to pay extra charges for the single supplement, or is there a way for me to avoid this? I do not mind sharing the room with another independent traveller.
4. Will I be eligible for any student or early bird discount?
5. When do I make payment, and can I make payment in Chinese RMB via WeChat?
Thanks for taking your time to look into my queries!
Dear Mr. Yi***,
Greetings from Nancy at Budget Tibet Tour, thanks for visiting our website and sending your inquiry.
1.Your student visa will be OK, and we will just need your school admission letter copy for it extra, and we have helped a lot of students in China to visit Tibet before. This will not affect you student visa at all, and your visa will still be valid to Aug.
2.You can book the train which arrives in Lhasa on 30th April, the earlier booking is better. Right now you can book it from your place to Lhasa. We will get the Tibet permit for you for sure.
3.We do have the 10days Lhasa to Mt. Everest plus Namsto Lake group tour on 30th April, I can apply 50$ per person off as student's discount.
4.And also at present we have a female who would like to share room, we will ask her opinion about it then get you back about the room share.
5.Pay the deposit by Wechat or Alipay is welcome for us. Also you can pay the balance by Wechat or Alipay too.
And I will send you more details of the tour to your email. Please check it. Best regards.

I am interested in your 10D Tibet Mt. Everest Base Camp plus Namtso Lake Group Tour for the departure date on 20 May. However I may likely book the flight arriving Lhasa on 17 May. is it possible to arrange the Tibet tour permit from 17 May before start of tour?
as my flight will be arriving at around 6pm after the free airport pick up time, can I take the airport shuttle bus by myself to my accommodation without a guide? how do I arrange pick up from my own-arranged hotel to the hotel booked by this tour on day 1 of itinerary?
also I am booking for one pax only and will like to share room. currently only one pax has booked. may I know if there is a minimum group size for the tour to be confirmed? or will it be last minute cancelled if the tour booking does not meet the minimum pax requirement.?
Dear Ms. jo***,
Thanks very much for your inquiry, and we currently have one departure date on 20th of May, you are quite welcome to join us! I was wondering whether you could fly to Lhasa on 20th or not. Well, you can also arrive in Lhasa on 17th, but there is extra fee. When you arrive in Lhasa at 6pm of 17th, you'll miss our free pick up on 20th, please note that you can't take bus or taxi from airport to hotel by yourself, because when you enter Lhasa, you must be escorted with a guide according to the policy (there will be policeman check-point on the way from airport to downtown), so the guide will pick you up at the airport and help you pass the check-point, and there is extra pick up fee. There is one tourist who has booked this tour, but he will stay in a single room. We will try our best to find a roommate for you, but if we fail, I was wondering whether you mind staying in guesthouse (dorm-bed, public bathroom, with breakfast), which can avoid single room supplement fee for you. The minimum group size is two persons, now there is one tourist has booked this tour, if you book this tour, there are two persons together, we won't cancel it. I will send detailed itinerary to you by email, please check it. Warm regards.
