Hello!

My husband and I are looking at travel in April 2019. We currently are only a group of 2, but it is possible we may have another 2 friends join us.
We are comparing tours for the 7 day tour from Lhasa to Kathmandu. What price can you offer for group tour for 2 (or 4 people) for the Lhasa to Kathmandu trips if we were to book in the next two weeks?

Many thanks,
Ho***

Answered by Nancy

Dear Ms. Ho***,

Greetings from Nancy Chung at Budget Tibet Tour, thanks for visiting our website and sending your inquiry, if there are 4 people in your group, I recommend you to take it as private tour, thus you will have the guide and driver on your own, and the tour can be flexible. If there are 2 in your group, of course take part in a group tour is better, and we have several groups in April, or we can open a new date based on your travel time, and our group size is 4 to 13 people. And if you will book in next weeks, I can apply some discount for you. Please check the email for more details. Best regards.

I am interested in a tour with you all in and around Lhasa for a party of two.

We plan on arriving on train from Chengdu, China on the 23rd. Thinking of doing a monastery/temple tour the day we arrive. On the 24th, our full day, we would be interested in going to Yamdrok lake or something similar, 25th be in Lhasa to see rest other temples/monastery before we fly out in the evening.

We would like to get a tentative itinerary and price for the trip all inclusive.
Transportation, hotel stay, meals and Tibet permit.

Thank you so much,
Mi***

Answered by Helen

Hi Ms. Mi***,

Thanks very much for your inquiry. According to your itinerary, there is no group tour that suits for you, while we can arrange a private tour for you. Taking private tour, our guide will take you to visit all the scenic spots that you mentioned, and we will give you a quotation of this tour based on two of you, which includes transportation, hotel, guide and Tibet Permit. I will send detailed itinerary and quotation to you by email, please check your email. Warm regards.

user portrait Mr. Go*** from: Why Mount Kailash is worshiped as the most sacred mountain in Tibet?

I want to organize tours to Tibet from Nepal can you sent me cost rate for all tours what you organize with detail itinerary

Answered by Nancy

Dear Mr. Go***,

Greetings from Nancy Chung at Budget Tibet Tour, thanks for visiting our website and sending your inquiry, please kindly let me know your nationality if you will visit Kailash, as we cannot apply Tibet permit to Kailash for Indian passport holders, and also Kailash is not possible to go from late Oct to early April due to the cold weather, and it will closed. If you will just take the tour from Kathmandu to Lhasa via Mt. Everest, which will be no problem to go year around (except every March). If you can provide how many people in your group and when you would like to take this tour, you will get the precise quote within 24 hours. Thanks and best regards to you.

How much walking is involved? My husband has a 'dicky' knee and sometimes it plays up.

Answered by Nancy

Dear Ms. Al***,

Greetings from Nancy at Budget Tibet Tour, and I am glad to get your inquiry here. For the 4days Lhasa city tour, there will be 1080 stairs for Potala Palace to climb, and also some walking around Drepung Monastery, other places such as Sera Monastery and Jokhang Temple will involve less walking, and our driver will drive people to every entrance place. Let me know if your husband will use wheelchair to make him better. I will send you the tour details to your email and also we will arrange you the train tickets from Lhasa to Xining as you planned. Best regards.

user portrait Mr. Ch*** from: 20 Days Big Loop Northern Tibet Adventure with Mount Kailash

Hello.

Do you have any trips scheduled in July next year to  20 Days Big Loop Northern Tibet Adventure with Mount Kailash or 18 Days Lhasa to Kashgar Overland Tour via Mount Kailas.  and how much would it cost to add Yarlung Valley

Answered by Nancy

HI Ch***,

Greetings from Nancy at Budget Tibet Tour, and I am so glad to hear from your about your inquiry. Normally for the 20 Days Big Loop Northern Tibet Adventure with Mount Kailash or 18 Days Lhasa to Kashgar Overland Tour via Mount Kailash we only ran the private tour, as it will be hard to collect people to form a group, so if you will go you have to go it as private tour, and also it is not possible for Non-Chinese people to visit Yarlung Valley, please understand that. We have 15days Lhasa to Kailash trekking group tour every month, if you like, I will send that details to your email. Best regards.

the best time to travel and facility for a couple over 75 aged. Accommodation style and vegetarian food?

Answered by Nancy

HI Ra***,

Greetings from Nancy at Budget Tibet Tour, and thanks for visiting our website and sending you inquiry. The best time to do the 15 days Tibet Mount Kailash Trekking plus Mt. Everest Base Camp is April to earl July or Sep to Oct as it is dry time for Tibet, other time it will be rainy time. And also it will be ok for 75 years old as we had clients before who was even 79 years old did this trip. And if you are tired, you can hire a horse to ride there. We will stay in 3 star hotels in Lhasa and Shigaste, and guesthouse in other remote places, and there will be vegetarian food providing in the restaurant there, you can order whatever you like and pay it on spot. I will send you the tour details to your email. Please check it there. best regards.

user portrait Mr. Ar*** from: 8 Days Tibet Mt. Everest Base Camp Group Tour

Hi there, I'm a student in Tianjin and next January/February my friend and I would like to go to Tibet. The 8-day EBC tour starting January the 29th looks really great. However, we are on a bit of a tight budget. Is there any way we can reduce the cost? - for example, are there cheaper accommodation options than the 3-star hotels? Are there some scenic spots which we can skip? Also, we can both speak Chinese, so are there any Chinese-speaking tour options which would be cheaper? I'd be grateful for any information you can give. Thank you.

Answered by Helen

Dear Mr. Ar***,

Thanks very much for your inquiry. As the beginning of February is Tibetan New Year, the Tibet maybe closed to tourists during that time. I was wondering whether you could advance your tour or not. You can start your tour on 23rd Jan. If you don’t mind staying in guesthouse (dorm-bed, public bathroom, no breakfast), we can reduce some cost for you. In Jan, part of the spots are half fare. Because the entrance fee is not included in our tour price, if you don’t visit some spots, you can choose not to enter it and you don’t need to pay the entrance fee. I will send the detailed itinerary to your email, please check it. Warm regards
