user portrait Mr. ma*** from: 8 Days Tibet Mt. Everest Base Camp Group Tour

Hello!

We're two friends from Italy and we’re planning our summer vacation. We're thinking to get to Lhasa approximately on the 8th or 9th of August and to stay for a week. We would like to know which is your best (cheapest) offer (private or group tour) considering that we don’t have a big budget, with details about what’s included and what’s not.

Thank you so much!!!

Answered by Nancy

Dear Mr. Ma***,
Greetings from Nancy at Budget Tibet Tour, thanks for visiting our website and sending your inquiry. I wonder whether you can come to Tibet on 5th Aug, as we have 8days group tour on this date, so I can provide you some discount for the tour. If you want the tour is cheaper, then better for you to join in a group tour, private tour cannot be cheap in Aug as it is the peak season, and everything in its highest cost. And our group size is from 4 to 14 people. Or if you insist the tour on 8th or 9th Aug we can collect people based on that too, but cannot guarantee it will be a group as at least 4 people. Looking forward to your idea about it. Best regards.

Answered by Helen

Dear Mr. Jo***,
Greetings from Helen at Budgettibettour. From your inquiry, I see that you are interested in both Everest Base Camp and Namtso Lake, here we recommend one 10 days Tibet Mt. Everest plus Namtso Lake group tour to you, and we currently have one departure date on 28th of June, which is suitable for your itinerary. As you enter Tibet from Nepal, you need to apply for Chinese Group Visa in Kathmandu, which takes at least three working days. If you arrive in Kathmandu on 23rd June, you can start to apply for visa on 24th June, and you'll get visa on 26th or 27th, then flying from Kathmandu to Lhasa and join tour starting on 28th June. Firstly, we will apply for visa invitation letter with copy of your passports. Next, we will send visa invitation letter to you and our partner in Kathmandu. When you arrive in Kathmandu, you need to meet with our partner and give them your original passports. Then they will go to Chinese embassy and apply for visa for you. Finally, pick up your passport and Chinese Group Visa from our partner and fly to Lhasa. I will send detailed itinerary to your email, please check it. Warm regards.

user portrait Mr. Ch*** from: How to apply for Tibet Permit

Hello,
I've got a question regarding Visa Application. We want to be in China in the period from about 29th of September 2019 to up a whole month and enter china by train (Trans-Mongolian). We wish to travel around china for up to 2 weeks and finally take the Lhasa Express to Lhasa from one of the station in china. We wish to exit china by leaving Lhasa towards Kathmandu.

Is there any way to combine the tibet permit with an whole month visum?

Thank you

Answered by Nancy

Dear Mr. Ch***,

Greetings from Nancy at Budget Tibet Tour, thanks for visiting our website and sending your inquiry. Based on your situation, I think better for you to apply China visa in Mongolian instead of your place. Where you have booked the train to China. And I will provide you the visa invitation letter so you can go the embassy there to apply your China visa. You can travel to Tibet with this valid China visa too. And I recommend you to take our 7days Lhasa to Kathmandu via Mt. Everest group tour on 16th Oct as we have several people booked this tour already, and which will be perfect for your time. And you can take train from Xining to Lhasa as it will be short time taking and also you can travel more China with the two weeks before heading to Tibet. I will send you more details about the tour to your email please check it there. Best regards.

Answered by Helen

Dear Ms. Ci***,
Thanks very much for your inquiry, and welcome you to join our 5 days Yamdrok Lake tour. For your questions:
1. We will help you apply for Tibet Permit, which requires copy of your passports anc Chinese visas, and it usually takes 15-20 days, then we will deliver the permit to your hotel in Beijing.
2. Yes, the first day is the day of arrival in Tibet, for example, if you start your tour on 10th of June, you need to arrive in Lhasa on 10th of June.
3. If you take train to Lhasa, our guide can pick you up any time on arrival day, Lhasa train station is not very far from downtown. On the last day, we have three free drop-off times, it takes about one hour from downtown to Lhasa airport, you can book flights according to the drop-off time. user portrait Mr. To*** from: 7 Days Lhasa to Kathmandu Tour via Everest Base Camp

Hello,

we are interested in being part of your 7day Lhasa to Kathmandu tour, starting on the end of Augunst, beginning of September. We will travel by train from Xining to Lhasa.

How does it work with the Tibet-Travel-Permit and how many people is the minimum fot the tour to take place? Is the Everest-Base-Camp still closed for tourists or will it be part of the tour?

kind regards, To***

Answered by Nancy

Dear Mr.To***,
Greetings from Nancy at Budget Tibet Tour, thanks for visiting our website and sending your inquiry. 1) Based on your time, and I wonder whether our date 5th Sept would be OK with you, as we have this date which is closing to your time.
2) If you will take train from Xining, then you will just need Tibet permit copies and print them out on your own, then take the ticket paper and check in at train station, trust me on this, and we had decades of clients enter Tibet from Lhasa monthly. And it is quite easy in this way. Please let me know if you will need us to arrange the train tickets for you, if so, you prefer soft-sleeper or hard-sleeper? And I will inquiry from my scalper about it.
3) Our group size is 4 to 12 people, and on 5th Sept we have 4 people already, so if you will join in, the tour will happen for sure.
4) Actually Everest base has never been closed, and the government just closed the deep core part and move all the places near Rongbuk Monastery, where is still the good point to have watch on Everest Summit if the weather is nice, and this is so called New Everest Base camp.
I will forward more details of the tour to your email, please check it there. Best regards.

Requesting information regarding Mount Kailash and Manasarovar trip. Package details, Visa etc.

Answered by Nancy

Dear Mr. Ja***,

Greetings from Nancy at Budget Tibet Tour, thanks for visiting our website and sending your inquiry. As I checked you IP came from India, sorry we cannot apply Tibet permit for Indian passport holders to Kailash and Manasarovar, and no travel agencies can do that neither, and you need to inquiry the local Indian pilgrim groups as they have the own group to Kailash for the trekking and pilgrim. So please contact your local travel agent and they can help you with this tour. Best regards.

user portrait Ms. Ch*** from: Tibet tours from Nepal within 5 steps

We a group of 6 people from Malaysia would like to travel from Kathmandu to Western Tibet and trek Mt. Kailash in mid September.  Kindly email us your groups tour date and detail itinerary

Answered by Helen

Dear Ms. Ch***,

Thanks very much for your inquiry. We see that you would like to travel from Kathmandu and trek Mt. Kailash, as you are six persons together, you may consider taking a private tour, cost of private tour is almost the same as group tour (six pax in one group), and there are only six of you in private tour, and we are able to arrange a Kathmandu to Lhasa via Mt. Kailash overland private tour for you. As the price is not high and it will be more flexible for you. I will send detailed itinerary and quotation to your email, please check it. Warm regards.
