What is Saga Dawa Festival? 
Saga Dawa (4th month) Festival celebrates the Buddha's birth, enlightenment, and death, or attaining of Nirvana. It is the most important religious festival observed by the entire Buddhist world. Any merit obtained for the performance of a good dead or religious practice will be enhanced.

Why is Mountain Kailash?
It is not only located isolated in an untouched wilderness of western Tibet but also known as a sacred mountain to four great Asian religions-Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Bon-and is considered by all to be the center of the universe around which suns, planets, and moon circle.

Pretour Must-know

Permit Warning!
There are 3 kind of permits required for tourists who want to visit Mt. Kailash; generally 15 days ahead is needed when applying for the Tibet permit for a regular Tibet tour, while 25 days ahead is required for total 3 different permits to Mt. Kailash. So, please book the tour and send us all the required documents as early as possible, otherwise your permit application will be simply rejected due to late submission.
Before Arrival to Mt. Kailash:
  1. Medicines you need to bring: Diamonx and Inosine Oral Liquid / We will prepare free emergency oxygen supply for you.
  2. Do not carry out visiting activity on the arrival day, take more time to rest and acclimatize. Exercises, such as climbing or running are not advised either.
  3. Drink more water and eat fruits rich of vitamin, keep warm and do not take shower until you fully acclimatized in case of catching cold which is, actually, the biggest thread to your safety.
  4. Avoid tobacco, alcohol and other depressant drug
